Branch Out

It is spring and a new cycle is beginning. Nature is changing her face; the days lengthen and everywhere there are signs of new growth. Bulbs have broken through the ground, lifting their faces to the sun and the trees are blooming, budding or leafing out. Nature is a great teacher to us and the magic and mystery of the eternal cycle of life is often lost in our busy, modern world. Life is like this changing of seasons. It contains cycles of renewal and rebirth, followed by fullness and expression before drawing back inside to rest and integrate.

The seasons of life connect us to the earth's cycles and the opportunities for growth.Every phase in the cycle of life offers both gifts and challenges. While we may not recognize it at the time, every difficulty we encounter is an opportunity. We often learn about positives by experiencing its opposite.

Angry impulses are fueled by fear and may be a lesson in compassion. The sense of losing control may show us where we do not trust. A feeling of being stuck may be teaching us patience.

The obstacles we face provide us with an opportunity to bring more love and light into our lives. As we become more aware we can view these challenges as a gift from the universe to help us identify and eliminate old and outworn beliefs and behavior patterns. These lessons are the road to freedom and can bring us to a place of greater understanding of who we are and how to express a higher presence in our daily lives. Each cycle is temporary and this quality makes each phase precious, because it never lasts. In the natural world there is no holding on to the old ways for fear there will be nothing to replace it. As with all living things, there is an ultimate intention of procreation.

There is so much that takes place; elements that work together accomplishing continuation of every species. Each part plays an essential role in the process in order to renew, restore, revive and rejuvenate. In fact, spring often shows itself at its best where there has been trauma to the land.

The hills that burned in a fall wildfire will be twice as green as its neighbor in the spring. It is the way of life as nature cleanses itself it creates the ideal circumstances for regeneration. By being fully engaged in life, we maximize our potential in each phase and we are ready when the next one arrives.

The spontaneity of this flow is the very essence of happiness and joy.The season of spring is upon us. What does spring mean to you? During this time of emergence and renewal, what are you planting in your garden that will bring forth fullness in your life? The higher working of your soul is bringing forth what you need in order to be the most you can be.

Embrace fully the divine being you truly are and express the qualities of acceptance and forgiveness. Then your garden will be filled with the most amazing blossoms. You will attract what you need in order to grow and expand, multiplying your potential beyond your wildest dreams.

What is it that you desire most in your life? What do you want that you don't feel you deserve? It is time to let go of these old patterns and open yourself to something new. It is time to branch out and connect to your authentic power!.
